
Learn the Ancient Art of Glassblowing in New York City
Kevin Scanlan has been teaching glassblowing for over 25 years. His knowledge of the medium is extensive and his teaching technique is always interesting and best of all fun.
Beginning students learn basic glass handling skills. A wide range of techniques are explored. From basic blowing skills to Venetian cane techniques. Demonstrations also play a large part of the class. Color application is explored in depth. Cold working and other processes such as casting will also be studied.
Group Classes (six week sessions)
Beginner: Thursday evenings (July 8th- August 12th 7-9:30pm).

Tuition: $600.00 (all supplies included)**
Six student limit per class (minimum four students)
**non-refundable Deposit of $100 required to reserve your space. Full payment due the first class.
-Sorry no make up classes but partial credit will be given for one scheduled absence.
Private and Semi-private lessons
Private-$90.00 per hour, 2 hour minimum
Semi-private-2 people, 2 hours, $250.00 ( For the 1st lesson, $225.00 for 2nd lesson and beyond).
